GATORADE: G-STORE NYC

THE WHY: As both upstart and entrenched competitors eroded Gatorade’s market share, the brand needed to showcase that it was more than just a sports drink by bringing the brand off of the sideline and into its consumer’s everyday lifestyle.

THE WHAT: Most people grab Gatorade from a deli or convenience store, so we created our own to showcase Gatorade’s full range of products. Here, consumers explored the store via AR-enabled iPads, unlocking brand knowledge to earn entry into the hidden speakeasy behind it. Once through, consumers engaged with a range of exclusive activations – a sports science outpost, training gym, fashion studio, and photo exhibition –which showcased the brand’s sport and lifestyle creds.
